Hendricks Family Dentistry recognized for 50 years of care to the community

BRUNSWICK — The Northern Medina County Chamber Alliance celebrated Hendricks Family Dentistry's service to the community for more than 50 years at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday. Dr. Gary Hendricks opened the practice in 1975. He believes his staff turned the dental office into a great one. "Over the years, they have cared for generations of Brunswick families, building their practice around personalized care, long-term relationships and making their patients feel like family," Chamber Executive Director Debbie Boehmke said. His son, Dr. Jamison Hendricks, took over the practice at 4181 Center Road in Brunswick in 2007. He added "family" to the name to signify that it will always be family-oriented rather than corporate. "We are family," he said. "We will always be together in that way. Now I see (Gary Hendricks) looking at me with a lot of the same reverence that I shared with him growing up. It makes me feel proud." Jamison Hendricks works alongside Dr. Tonya Frys and Dr. Anthony Lyamichev. "It's really all about the patients of the Brunswick community, the people we serve," Jamison Hendricks said. "I know that as long as I'm his son, and as long as we have the beautiful team behind us and my family, we're committed to make sure that everybody has a place to call home." Boehmke said the practice has a great history and looks to the future by investing in technology and expanding services. "When you think about 50 years of business, it really is remarkable," she said. "Businesses don't always reach a milestone like this without earning the trust of their customers and becoming a part of the community that is served, and that is certainly true of Hendricks Family Dentistry."
