Girls tennis: Team effort gives Medina win over Brecksville

BROADVIEW HTS. — Depth carried the Medina girls tennis team to a 4-1 Suburban League National Conference victory over Brecksville on Thursday. M.J. Pimpo (6-4, 6-1) and Chase Kremer (6-2, 6-4) cruised to victories at second and third singles, respectively. The first doubles team of Nellie Alber and Ella Bresler needed a tiebreaker to win 7-5 (2), 6-0, while second pairing Julie Adams and Faith Zabka battled through two tough sets to win 7-5, 7-6 (4).
