Brunswick and Brunswick Hills police blotter for Sept. 10

Brunswick police Wednesday, Sept. 2 4:11 p.m. — Aspen Lake Drive; a man was taken into custody on an outstanding felony drug possession warrant that was issued by the Medina County Sheriff's Office. He was turned over to the Medina County Sheriff's Office. 5:22 p.m. — 1600 block of Pearl Road; police responded to a report of a dog that was unattended in a vehicle. The owner of a white shih tzu was located and issued a citation in Brunswick Mayor's Court. Thursday, Sept. 3 1:08 a.m. — Ridge Road; a man was arrested by the Canton post of the State Highway Patrol on an outstanding Brunswick Mayor's Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of falsification. He was taken into custody, unable to post bond and transported to the Medina County Jail. 1:24 a.m. — 2700 block of Center Road; a traffic stop was conducted. A woman had a warrant through the Medina County Sheriff's Office. Officers issued a citation to the driver for an out headlight, and the Medina County Sheriff's Office picked up the woman on her warrant. 4:22 p.m. — 10 block of Pearl Road; a man was arrested by Strongsville police regarding an outstanding failure to appear warrant out of Medina Municipal Court on an original charge of aggravated menacing. He was taken into custody and transported to the Medina County Jail after being unable to post bond. Friday, Sept. 4 11:47 p.m. — 1400 block of Pearl Road; a vehicle was making several marked lanes violations. A traffic stop was conducted. A search of the vehicle was done, and small bottles of alcohol were found under the driver's seat of the vehicle. He was issued citations in Brunswick Mayor's Court. Saturday, Sept. 5 12:58 a.m. — Jefferson Avenue; a vehicle drove into a ditch. The driver was issued citations in Medina Municipal Court for OVI refusal, OVI, and failure to control. The plates were also seized. Tuesday, Sept. 8 8:08 p.m. — Pearl Road/Center Road; a three-vehicle crash occurred. Brunswick Hills police Sunday, Aug. 23 10:52 a.m. — 5000 block of Center Road; a man made a telecommunications and trespassing complaint. An investigation is pending. 5:45 p.m. — Sleepy Hollow Road; a delivery worker was bitten by a dog while delivering a package. Wednesday, Aug. 26 6:37 p.m. — Cabernet Drive; a man reported identity theft. Friday, Aug. 28 10:54 a.m. — Wood Rose Drive; a report of fraud was made.
