Girls tennis roundup: Highland remains perfect in Suburban League National Conference

NORTH ROYALTON — Highlighted by a 6-0, 6-0 win from first singles player and reigning Gazette MVP Lily Hantz, the Highland girls tennis team swept North Royalton 5-0 in a Suburban League National Conference match Wednesday. The Hornets (9-2, 4-0) also got straight-set victories from singles players Ava Tople (6-4, 6-3) and Sophia Bublitz (6-1, 6-2), while the first doubles team of Alyssa Boucher and Vanessa Demming and the second team of Lacy Piechowiak and Taylor Keller rolled 6-3, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-0, respectively.
