Golf roundup: Ellie Gonzalez ties for medalist honors

BEDFORD — Brunswick junior Ellie Gonzalez-Ribble shot an even-par 71 to tie Magnificat's Korrine Knaze and Kayla Knaze for medalist honors at Friday's Shawnee Showcase at Shawnee Hills Golf Course. Gonzalez-Ribble shot a 2-under 34 on the back nine. The Blue Devils (332), who saw Emma Gonzalez-Ribble shoot a 77 and Rylee Roth shoot an 83, were second out of 15 teams behind the Blue Streaks (295).
