Medina County crowns 2026 fair queen and king

MEDINA — The title of Medina County Fair queen was passed down to Berkeley Craddock on Monday night. This year, 11 girls and three boys competed to be on the royal court. On Monday, each candidate answered a random question and defined what a word like courtesy or perseverance means to them as part of the judging process. Craddock, 18, is a recent Cloverleaf High School graduate who will be attending Otterbein University this fall to study sports management and media. She has been involved in 4-H for eight years, in which she has shown poultry, and she has served as the junior fair board president for three years. "The activity that is the most meaningful to me would be the junior fair board," she said. "I've met so many amazing people and gotten involved in so many different things through the junior fair board. It has been the best five years that I've had in my life." Ariana Murawski, 18, of Granger Township, was the first runner-up, and Leah Bengough, 17, of York Township, was the second runner-up. "As the old saying goes, all good things must come to an end," 2025 Medina County Fair Queen Aubrey Reuter said. "Wearing this crown and sash for the past year has been my truest pride and joy." Drew Firebaugh, 17, was named the 2026 fair king. He is an incoming Cloverleaf High School senior who is involved in 4-H, junior fair board, National Honor Society and Key Club. The first runner-up for king was Anthony Chung, 17, of Liverpool Township, and the second runner-up was Georgie Levandoski, 17, of Hinckley Township. "To the next fair king, enjoy every moment," 2025 Medina County Fair King Jayden Tripphahn said. "The year goes by faster than we think. Take every opportunity to meet new people, represent our fair with pride and appreciate the privilege of serving this amazing community."
