Northern Medina County Chamber Alliance recognizes businesses that graduated from its Business Builders 2.0 program

BRUNSWICK — Over the past year, several local business owners worked toward progressing their businesses through the Northern Medina County Chamber Alliance's Business Builders program. Those who graduated from the 2.0 version of the program were recognized for their efforts during a graduation ceremony at Skyview Lodge on Tuesday. The program was initially launched last year with the goal of giving local business owners the knowledge, skills and resources to find success. "When we first launched the Business Builders program, we set out to help our members build strong, sustainable businesses," Committee Chair Terri Greene said. "What we didn't anticipate was just how much our inaugural cohort would want more." The program covers topics like marketing, financial planning, policy development and operational strategies by connecting business owners with experts. Greene said the 2.0 program was an extension of what was learned in the first program and was driven by the participants. "They weren't finished growing, learning or supporting one another, and they challenged us as a committee to keep it going and to take it a little deeper," she said. "That passion and commitment are exactly what led to the creation of Business Builders 2.0."
