Brunswick police Wednesday, April 15 12:10 a.m. — Judita Drive; police were called to a disturbance in which a man was involved in a physical altercation with his cousin; both parties were intoxicated. While detained, one man continued shouting and cursing in the driveway of the residence and was arrested for persistent disorderly conduct. During his transport, he kicked and spat on the dash camera and was charged with criminal mischief. 12:41 a.m. — Snow Road; Independence police arrested a woman on a Brunswick Mayor's Court failure to appear warrant on an original charge of theft. Brunswick police met with Independence police and took custody of her. She was released after her bond was posted. 6:08 p.m. — Hadcock Road; a report of criminal damage was made. 6:23 p.m. — 4000 block of Center Road; a man was transported to the Medina County Jail where he was charged with resisting arrest, operating a vehicle while intoxicated and open container. Thursday, April 16 10:09 a.m. — Michael Drive; a couple agreed to buy a dog on Facebook through a group called "Corgi Rescues." They paid an unknown person $600 via Zelle and Chime as a down payment before realizing they were victims of a scam. 4:24 p.m. — West Streetsboro Road; Cuyahoga Falls police had a woman in their custody who had a Brunswick Mayor's Court failure to appear warrant. She was transported to court, received her sentence and was transported to the Medina County Jail. Friday, April 17 7:57 p.m. — Winsted Drive; a man was arrested for persistent disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and was transported to the Medina County Jail. Saturday, April 18 1:43 p.m. — Laurel Road; a dog bite was reported. Brunswick Hills police Wednesday, April 1 6:32 p.m. — Substation Road; officers were asked to make a welfare check. Friday, April 3 7:00 p.m. — 5000 block of Center Road; an officer investigated a criminal damaging complaint. Saturday, April 4 9:28 a.m. — Mill Creek Boulevard; a report of theft was made, and an investigation is pending. Monday, April 6 12:54 p.m. — Boston Road; police were dispatched for a disturbance. Hinckley police Sunday, Feb. 1 4:37 p.m. — Boston Road/Ridge Road; one vehicle struck another while turning. Monday, Feb. 2 12:33 p.m. — West 130th Street; a woman reported theft from her checking account. Thursday, Feb. 5 1:36 p.m. — 140 block of Center Road; a crash occurred with a semitractor-trailer carrying hazardous materials. Friday, Feb. 6 6:39 p.m. — 2500 block of Center Road; a vehicle was stuck in a yard and causing damage. Thursday, Feb. 9 1:24 p.m. — Mattingly Road/Crystal Brook Drive; a vehicle struck a mailbox, drove into a ditch and rolled onto its roof. Saturday, Feb. 11 2:46 p.m. — 1800 block of Center Road; a stopped school bus red light violation occurred.
