Music at Bath concert series The Music at Bath concert series will continue 3 p.m. Sunday at the church's sanctuary at 3980 W. Bath Road. Singers Companye choir and chamber orchestra will be performing, and the performance will be directed by Samuel Gordon. Admission is free, but freewill offerings will be accepted. The venue is handicapped accessible. Technology junk drive to benefit youth group The Medina United Church of Christ, Congregational youth group is collecting old, broken and unused technology to recycle at two drop-off times. It will take place 4:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 25 at the church parking lot at 217 E. Liberty St. in Medina. The following broken or unwanted electronics will be accepted at drop-offs: All-in-one computers Cellphones Cords and cables Desktops Gaming consoles Laptops Metal encased stereo receivers MP3 players Smart watches Tablets VHS and DVD players Video games Personal data should be removed before donating, but the youth group can help with that at the drop-off. "Each year we hold this drive to support our high school summer mission trip," the Rev. Meghan Malone said. "This year 26 of us are going to Tucson, Arizona, for a service and learning trip about immigration in the U.S. Your recycled tech can help us get there." CRT and flat screen televisions up to 55 inches wide will be accepted for a $30 donation because they cost money to recycle. If the youth group cannot take certain items, they will give advice on where to recycle them. "It's a great opportunity that allows us to raise funds for our group while doing something good for our community and the Earth," said Malone. The 2025 junk drive recycled 68 desktop computers, 72 laptops and more, coming in at 3,500 pounds. Malone said more than $1,500 was raised for the youth group's cultural immersion trip last year to learn about Native culture in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
