Early voting starts for May primary

MEDINA — Medina County voters can vote early for the May 5 primary election at the Medina County Board of Elections. In-person voting will take place at 3800 Stonegate Drive, Suite C, at the following times: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays until April 24. 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. April 27 through May 1 with the board being open an extra hour until 8:30 p.m. on April 28. 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 2. 1-5 p.m. May 3. Absentee ballot applications for this election must be received by the Board of eElections by 8:30 p.m. April 28. The board must receive completed absentee ballots by 7:30 p.m. May 5. On Election Day, the polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The following polling location changes have been made for Election Day: Chatham Township A and B will go to Lorain Medina Rural Electric Cooperative at 1 Cooperative Way in Spencer. Harrisville Township A will go to the Lodi Library at 635 Wooster St. in Lodi. Homer Township will go to the Lodi Library at 635 Wooster St. in Lodi. Lafayette Township A, B, C and D will go to the Medina County Fairgrounds' Community Center at 735 Lafayette Road in Medina. Litchfield Township A and B will go to Lorain Medina Rural Electric Cooperative at 1 Cooperative Way in Spencer. Lodi Village A and B will go to the Lodi Library at 635 Wooster St. in Lodi. Medina City 3A will go to the Medina Recreation Center at 855 Weymouth Road. Medina Township B will go to Cornerstone Church at 3939 Granger Road in Medina Township. Medina Township G will go to the Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities' Achievement Center at 4691 Windfall Road in Medina Township. Spencer Township will go to Lorain Medina Rural Electric Cooperative at 1 Cooperative Way in Spencer. Spencer Village will go to Lorain Medina Rural Electric Cooperative at 1 Cooperative Way in Spencer. The Medina County Board of Elections stated it looked for new locations based on factors like new equipment and power requirements.
