Dennis J. Ensign

Dennis J. Ensign, 72, of Lodi, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Parkside Villa in Middleburg Hts., Ohio following a lengthy illness. He was born May 24, 1953 in Lodi, to the late Walter and Eldora (Miller) Ensign. Denny graduated from Cloverleaf High School in 1971 and was a lifelong resident of Lodi. He was the owner-operator of Ensign Plumbing for many years. Denny thoroughly enjoyed his work and always liked helping find solutions to his customer's problems. He was an avid long-suffering Browns fan and was a member of the Wellington American Legion and Medina Eagles. Denny played competitive softball for many years and also coached girls' softball teams. He took great pride in caring for his property and raising his beef cattle. He is survived by his sister, Sharon Ensign; nephews, Mark (Kristin) Mays and their children, Harper and Jett; and Ryon (Sarah) Mays and their children, Remi, Brynn, and Vera. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi.
