Guard Teven Jenkins re-signs as Browns continue to focus on O-line

The Browns kept one of their own as they continued to address the offensive line.Guard Teven Jenkins re-signed Tuesday, the team announced. He was eligible to become an unrestricted free agent Wednesday when the league year begins.Browns agree to 3-year deal with guard Zion Johnson, add LB Quincy WilliamsJenkins, 28, signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the Browns last offseason after four years with the Bears. He appeared in all 17 games for the Browns, starting four at right guard after Wyatt Teller was injured.Jenkins was the No. 39 pick of the Bears in 2021 out of Oklahoma State. He's started 42 of 62 games in his career.For the second straight day at the start of free agency general manager Andrew Berry added a guard. Zion Johnson, who spent the previous four years with the Chargers, agreed to a three-year, $49.5 million deal Monday as the negotiating window opened.Last week Berry agreed to a trade for Texans right tackle Tytus Howard as he began to rebuild the line.Browns agree to deal with LB Quincy Williams after Devin Bush leaves for BearsThe Browns are prepared if seven-time Pro Bowl left guard Joel Bitonio retires. He's still deciding whether to return for a 13th season, but his contract was scheduled to void Tuesday after he and the organization pushed back the deadline.
