Celestia Theater concert schedule The Celestia Theater, operated by the Wadsworth Square Foundation, has the following concerts coming up: Erin Stoll, Nashville songwriter of the year and Northeast Ohio native, and Doug Kleiner will perform Saturday. The Vindys, fresh off tours with Pat Benatar and ZZ Top, will perform March 7. Red Wanting Blue and Somasonic will perform March 13. Medina Schools kindergarten registration The Medina school district is now accepting enrollment for the 2026-27 kindergarten class. Families are encouraged to begin the registration process early. To be eligible for kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year, children must be five years old on or before Aug. 19. The age requirement has been adjusted to reflect changes in Ohio law, which stipulates that a child must be five years old by the first day of school to begin kindergarten. Western Reserve Masonic Community Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Healthcare Center scored in the top 15 percent nationwide across a 12-month average. Medina road closure for water main There will be a road closure on Medina Street between West Washington Street and West Liberty Street from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. today. Traffic will not be permitted across the work zone at the intersection of Medina Street and Blake Avenue. The closure is necessary to accommodate water main installation associated with the Blake Avenue reconstruction project.
