Wadsworth and Lodi police blotter for Feb. 20

Wadsworth police Thursday, Feb. 5 8:30 a.m. — Broad Street; a driver was arrested for driving under suspension and was transported to the Medina County Jail. 1:53 p.m. — Buckhurst Run; a report was made of an unruly juvenile, who was later arrested. 3:41 p.m. — Williams Reserve Boulevard; a woman was arrested on a report of theft. Friday, Feb. 6 6:09 p.m. — Smokerise Drive; police responded to Walmart for a report of theft. 7:24 p.m. — State Road/Brixton Way; a driver was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and child endangering after a crash. Saturday, Feb. 7 7:19 p.m. — High Street; an 18-year-old man was issued a citation for possession of marijuana and an open container in a motor vehicle. Sunday, Feb. 8 9:02 a.m. — I-76; a man was arrested due to an active warrant out of Brunswick Hills. 5:28 p.m. — Red Rock Drive/Summit Street; police attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a four-wheeler. The driver failed to comply, and the driver was arrested Wednesday, Feb. 11 7:22 p.m. — Rainbow Street/Main Street; a man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after a traffic stop. Thursday, Feb. 12 1:08 a.m. — Main Street; Wadsworth police located a wanted subject. The man was placed into custody, and suspected narcotics were found on him. The incident remains under investigation. Friday, Feb. 13 11:47 a.m. — Broad Street; a fight occurred, and an investigation is ongoing. 3:14 p.m. — Williams Reserve Boulevard; a suspect stole about $400 worth of merchandise from a store. Saturday, Feb. 14 5:12 p.m. — Grandview Avenue; Wadsworth police received a report of a suspicious message that was sent to Wadsworth Schools. Sunday, Feb. 15 8:33 a.m. — I-76; drugs were located in a vehicle after a K-9 gave a positive alert. 9:33 a.m. — South Kaser Drive; a resident contacted police to report a theft from her vehicle. Lodi police Monday, Feb. 9 4:28 p.m. — Bank Street; an officer was flagged down at a business regarding a disturbance involving a firearm. It was learned that an argument started about parking. During the altercation, the business owner armed himself with a firearm and a bat. The other parties advised that they were threatened by the gun. The officer viewed the surveillance camera footage and determined the handgun had not been pointed at the other parties. The business owner was cautioned about handling the situation himself and was advised to contact the police department in the future. Tuesday, Feb. 10 8:11 p.m. — Sunset Avenue; officers were dispatched for a reported disturbance. Upon investigating the incident, a woman was arrested for assault and transported to the Medina County Jail. Wednesday, Feb. 11 10:35 p.m. — Bank Street; officers were alerted to a possible violation of a protection order. An investigation is ongoing.
