NE Ohio transit challenge is open Medina County residents can participate in Gohio Commute's 2026 Northeast Ohio Loves Transit Challenge. The challenge is also open to residents, employees, students and regional daily travelers in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain and Medina counties. To participate, log all public transit trips on buses and trains on the Gohio Commute platform at tinyurl.com/5n82vacr for a chance to win prizes. Participants will be eligible for weekly raffle prizes, and there will be a grand prize winner for the overall alternative commuter. Entries are limited to four trips per day. Cleveland Metroparks hiring for seasonal jobs The Cleveland Metroparks is gearing up for the 2026 spring and summer season by hiring 1,000 individuals for seasonal roles. Seasonal job opportunities are available across Cleveland Metroparks park reservations, golf courses, food service, retail, marinas and zoo. Interested candidates are invited to attend Cleveland Metroparks' annual seasonal job fair 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 7 at Stillwater Place within the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Seasonal positions are available for ages 16 and up and most positions offer a 40-hour work week with employment from spring through mid-October.
