Brad W. Stewart

Brad William Stewart, 45, of New Franklin, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, February 4, 2026. He was born September 30, 1980, in Medina, Ohio, to Robert and Donna Stewart. Brad grew up in Chippewa Lake and graduated from Cloverleaf High School in 1999. Shortly after graduation he entered the U.S. Army, serving three tours of duty in Iraq. He worked as a Transportation Specialist and an Armory Restoration Technician. Following his honorable discharge, he worked as a Private Security Contractor in Iraq. He married Jessica Rohrbaugh on September 19, 2015. They resided in Rittman before moving to New Franklin six years ago. Brad had most recently worked for Erie Industrial in Akron, and was a member of Lodi American Legion Post #523. He enjoyed fixing and refurbishing all types of firearms, as well as camping and spending time with his family. Brad is survived by his son, Christopher; mother, Donna Stewart; stepchildren, Jasmyn, Marcus, and Alex; step-granddaughter, Sophia; and siblings, Robert (Kimberly) Stewart, Brian Stewart, and Amanda (Ben) Fulk. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessica; father, Robert; and stepson, Christian. Memorial visitation will be Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 2 to 4 p.m. in Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, Ohio. Immediately following visitation, a Celebration of Life gathering will be held at Lodi American Legion, 120 Bank St., Lodi, Ohio.
