Brunswick, Brunswick Hills and Hinckley police blotter for Nov. 27

Brunswick police Wednesday, Nov. 19 3:16 p.m. — Detroit Road; Lakewood police contacted Brunswick police regarding a woman in custody. She had a warrant from Medina Municipal Court on an original charge of possessing drug abuse instruments. She was transported to the Medina County jail without incident. Thursday, Nov. 20 4:16 p.m. — West Third Street; officers responded to the Cuyahoga County Jail to take custody of a man who had an active bench warrant for failure to appear out of Brunswick Mayor's Court. He was unable to secure bond and was transported to the Medina County Jail. Sunday, Nov. 23 7:27 p.m. — Avon Lake Road; police responded to Love's Truck Stop in reference to a warrant service. Upon arrival, contact was made with State Highway Patrol troopers who had taken a man into custody on an active Brunswick Mayor's Court warrant. Brunswick police took custody of him and transported him to the Medina County Sheriff's Office. Brunswick Hills police Friday, October 17 10:41 a.m. — Southpointe Trail; a report of identity theft was made. Monday, Oct. 20 8:20 p.m. — Topaz Lane; a man was in violation of a protection order and was taken to the Medina County Jail. Wednesday, Oct. 22 4:38 p.m. — Sleepy Hollow Road; an individual reported harassment. Friday, Oct. 24 4:56 p.m. — Brittany Boulevard; dispatch advised of a woman coming to the station who was a victim of fraud. Wednesday, Oct. 29 2:22 p.m. — Boston Reserve; a man reported fraud. Hinckley police Wednesday, Sept. 17 4:30 p.m. — Ridge Road/Center Road; one vehicle side-swiped another. Thursday, Sept. 18 7:02 p.m. — 10 block of Pearl Road; officers assisted Brunswick police with a reqport of a man attempting to gain entry into a store by breaking a window out. 8:02 p.m. — Boston Road/Wakefield Run Boulevard; a driver appeared to be going too fast down a hill and caused the tires to skid while making a left turn. The driver failed to maintain control of the vehicle, went off the roadway and into a ditch. The vehicle overturned in the ditch, partially entrapping the driver. Saturday, Sept. 20 9:16 p.m. — Grafton Road/West 130th Street; a driver was issued traffic citations. Sunday, Sept. 21 6:06 p.m. — West 130th Street; a man reported the potential theft of his property. Monday, Sept. 22 3:00 p.m. — Ridge Road; a man was arrested on multiple warrants. 5:08 p.m. — Ridge Road; a man reported he lost his wallet with a police badge in it at a business. 6:48 p.m. — West 130th Street; a report of stalking was made. Saturday, Oct. 4 10:10 p.m. — Center Road/Skyland Drive; a driver was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Sunday, Oct. 5 7:03 a.m. — West 130th Street; officers were dispatched because of an allegation of a violation of a protection order. Tuesday, Nov. 11 6:53 p.m. — Center Road/Ridge Road; an impaired driver was issued citations.
