Brunswick, Brunswick Hills and Hinckley police blotter for Oct. 23

Brunswick police Thursday, Oct. 16 4:33 p.m. — I-71/Center Road; a three-vehicle crash occurred. 6:46 p.m. — 3800 block of Center Road; a woman was found to have stolen approximately $84 worth of goods from Meijer. She admitted to stealing the items and was placed under arrest. She was issued a legal notice of no trespass and was able to post her bond. She was then issued a citation for theft. Friday, Oct. 17 4:41 p.m. — Center Road/W. 130th Street; a traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the passenger who had warrants. The passenger was arrested and transferred into the custody of Avon police. Saturday, Oct. 18 4:00 a.m. — 3800 block of Center Road; officers responded to Meijer for a welfare check. The man was intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He was issued a citation into Brunswick Mayor's Court and was transported to Brunswick Cleveland Clinic. Brunswick Hills police Monday, Sept. 29 4:57 p.m. — Boston Road; a man reported a burglary that took place at his residence. Tuesday, Sept. 30 1:32 p.m. — Edmund Court; officers met with a man regarding a fraud complaint. Hinckley police Wednesday, July 30 5:28 a.m. — W. 130th Street/Holden Pine Trail; a vehicle went off the roadway, struck a mailbox and came to rest next to a utility pole. Thursday, Aug. 14 9:28 a.m. — Skyline Drive/Aldon Road; one vehicle struck another after failing to yield.
