St. Ambrose Parish to host first-class relic of St. Carlo Acutis St. Ambrose Parish will host a display of a first-class relic of St. Carlo Acutis today and Sunday at the church at 929 Pearl Road in Brunswick. The display coincides with the church's celebration of the Feast Day of St. Carlo Acutis on Sunday. Acutis was born in 1991 and died at 15 years old. He was from Italy and used his computer programming and design skills to create an online catalog of Eucharistic miracles. Pope Francis beatified him in 2020, and he was officially canonized by Pope Leo XIV on Sept. 7. "We are so blessed to celebrate the first Feast Day of Carlo Acutis by welcoming Friar Johnpaul to St. Ambrose," the Rev. Bob Stec said. "He comes with a first-class relic of Carlo along with a complete display about Carlo's amazing life and faith. Carlo reminds all of us, especially our young members, that we are all called to holiness (and) that God can use all of us, of every age, to bring God's presence, good news and hope to our world." Friar Johnpaul will preach at all masses this weekend. Masses are at 4:30 p.m. today and 7:30 a.m., 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, visit stambrose.us. Dueling Pianos at Unitarian Universalist Church of Akron Dueling Pianos with Piano Fiasco will be hosted at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Akron at 3300 Morewood Road at 7 p.m. Oct. 18. Music at Bath concert series The Music at Bath concert series will continue at 4 p.m. today in the fellowship hall of The Bath Church at 3980 W. Bath Road. Indie folk singer Kahrin will be performing songs from her recently released third studio album, "Pasture Girl." She will be accompanied by cellist and Cleveland Institute of Music graduate Trevor Kazarian. The venue is physically accessible, and there is ample parking. Free-will offerings will be accepted.
