Brunswick, Brunswick Hills and Hinckley police blotter for Oct. 9

Brunswick police Wednesday, Oct. 1 1:46 a.m. — 3000 block of Center Road; three subjects were observed stumbling across Center Road and falling in the grass in front of the Whistle Express Car Wash. Police attempted to make contact, and two of them ran away. One man was taken into custody, and the other two were apprehended a short time later. One man was found to be in possession of cocaine. All three were issued citations and were transported to the Medina County Jail. 6:59 a.m. — Regal Avenue; while working with the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force, units responded to arrest a man who had a felony warrant out of the Michigan State Police for assault with a deadly weapon. He was arrested during a traffic stop, transported to the Medina County Jail and turned over without incident. 11:42 a.m. — Rocklyn Drive; a vehicle accelerated backwards, went into a ditch and struck a utility pole. 6:07 p.m. — Bagley Road; Brooklyn police had a man on a Brunswick Mayor's Court warrant for failing to appear on a traffic offense. He was transferred into the custody of Brunswick police and was then transported to the Medina County Jail. Thursday, Oct. 2 2:44 p.m. — 3900 block of Center Road; officers responded to the Brunswick Post Office for a report of fraud. Friday, Oct. 3 3:05 p.m. — Bagley Road; officers responded to Middleburg Heights to meet with Lakewood police, who detained a man on a traffic stop. The man had an active bench warrant through Medina Municipal Court for failure to appear on a traffic offense charge through Brunswick police. Custody was transferred to Brunswick police, and he was transported to the Medina County Jail. Saturday, Oct. 4 2:48 a.m. — 3200 block of Center Road; a woman was found to have an arrest warrant out of Medina Municipal Court for failing to appear on a traffic offense. She was arrested and transported to Medina police, where her bond was posted, and she was released. 2:49 a.m. — Pearl Road/Beverly Hills Drive; a vehicle was observed committing multiple moving violations, and a traffic stop was initiated. Contact was made with the driver, who had the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her and had glossy, bloodshot eyes. She admitted to consuming alcohol and could not perform pre-exit interviews. She was arrested after showing impairment on standardized field sobriety tests and refused to provide a breath sample. She was issued citations. Monday, Oct. 6 7:19 p.m. — Center Road/Cole Road; police responded to a Flock camera alert for a felony warrant for drugs. The vehicle was located, and police took the owner into custody without incident. She was turned over to North Olmsted police. Brunswick Hills police Sunday, Sept. 14 12:58 a.m. — Autumnwood Lane; police were dispatched to a residence that had trees with toilet paper on it, and damage was done to the garage door. An investigation is pending. Thursday, Sept. 18 7:52 a.m. — Terrington Drive; a report of harassment was made. Hinckley police Thursday, Aug. 14 9:13 p.m. — Babcock Road; a driver was suspected of driving impaired. She was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and transported to State Highway Patrol Post 52 for a breath test. She was then transported to the Hinckley Police Department for processing. Sunday, Sept. 7 8:34 a.m. — River Road/Mattingly Road; a vehicle struck a guardrail, a ditch and a tree.
