Spaghetti dinner at Remsen Christian Church Remsen Christian Church will have a spaghetti dinner from 4:30-6 p.m. on Sept. 13. The menu includes spaghetti with add-ons of meatballs, peppers, onions and mushrooms, along with bread and butter, salad and dessert. Dine-in and carryout options are available. Matt Papa kicks off fall concert tour in Medina The Harvest Guest Artist Series announced its upcoming concert at 7 p.m. today, "Matt Papa in Concert," accompanied by musical duo Zach & Maggie White. Papa is a modern-day hymn writer with songs like "His Mercy is More," "Christ Our Hope in Life and Death," and "Come Behold The Wondrous Mystery" that are sung regularly in churches across the U.S. and abroad. Papa knows that people may be more likely to know his songs than to know his name. "It's become meaningful to me to know that I'm a part of something way bigger than me," he says. "I'm trying to create songs that outlast me and that unify the church and glorify God." "The Guest Artist Series has been one of the ways Harvest seeks to serve our community," Harvest Church senior pastor Seth Young said. "It is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the Lord and the beautiful music that he has gifted us through the talent of those made in his image." Gospel artist to perform at Grace Brethren Church of Homerville Miles Pike will be in concert at 4 p.m. Sept. 13 at Grace Brethren Church of Homerville at 8992 Firestone Road. Pike is a native Texan whose voice spans five octaves, and five of his radio singles have reached the No. 1 position on radio charts.
