Brunswick police Wednesday, Aug. 20 6:04 p.m. — 3800 block of Center Road; Meijer asset protection apprehended a woman for the theft of approximately $290 worth of merchandise. The woman was issued a citation for theft into Brunswick Mayor's Court and released on scene. Thursday, Aug. 21 3:11 p.m. — Sanford Drive; a cellphone was placed in found property. Saturday, Aug. 23 6:04 p.m. — 3600 block of Center Road; a report was made for an abandoned bicycle. Brunswick Hills police Tuesday, July 5 11:25 p.m. — Substation Road; a theft from a storage unit was filed. Wednesday, July 6 10:51 a.m. — Grafton Road; possible criminal damage was reported. Friday, July 8 7:48 a.m. — Marks Road; police responded to a complaint of a dirt bike on private property without permission. The rider was located and issued multiple citations. 10:56 a.m. — Fawn Haven Drive; a complaint was filed regarding a forged check. Hinckley police Wednesday, July 2 12:39 a.m. — Parker Road/Carr Road; a vehicle slid off the roadway, struck a tree and came to rest in a ditch. Thursday, July 7 11:04 p.m. — 2400 block of Center Road; an individual was found to be repeatedly trespassing on Hope Memorial Garden's property. After consent to search the vehicle was given, officers located suspected methamphetamine along with other paraphernalia. The operator was issued citations.
