NOACA announces final panelist lineup for its 2025 annual meeting The Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency announced the full panel lineup for its annual meeting and luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland. This year's panel discussion "NEO's Maritime Transportation System: Challenges and Opportunities" will feature a diverse group of experts who will explore the current landscape of Northeast Ohio's maritime industry. It will include topics like infrastructure conditions, waterway connectivity, investment needs, economic development potential and sustainability goals. Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne, who is also NOACA's board president, will moderate the discussion. Medina Needlework Guild 42nd annual needle art show The Medina Needlework Guild is holding its 42nd annual needle art show on Sept. 13-14 at the Brunswick Library. Judging will be in multiple categories such as cross stitch, needlepoint, quilting, knitting and crocheting and breading and jewelry. Entries are $5 and are open to the public. Junior entries for those under the age of 18 and entries just for display are free. Creations should be brought to the library from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sept. 11.
