James W. Duncan

James Wade Duncan, 80, formerly of Lodi, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at The Society's Pat Keel Group Home in Medina, where he had resided the past 2 years. He was born in Careyville, Tennessee on May 7, 1945 to Harry and Anna Mae (Bell) Duncan. His family moved to the Cleveland area, where James spent his early years. He had lived in Norman, Oklahoma before moving to Medina County. James worked at Windfall Industries, and was an avid fan of The Beatles, and old-time monster movies. He is survived by his niece, Sheila (Gerald) Johnston of Lodi; sister-in-law, Brenda Duncan of Lodi; as well as other nieces, nephews, and cousins. James was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Patsy, Letha, and Helen; and brothers, Bobby, Jay, and Vaughn. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 9, at 2 p.m., at Faith Victory Center, 8230 Pawnee Rd., Lodi, Ohio. Pastor Sheila Johnston will officiate.
