Training Camp Log, Day 4: Shedeur Sanders throws TDs as offense shows signs of life

QB TRACKER: The offense had its best day of camp, with each quarterback doing something to make the fans cheer.Kenny Pickett was first up in the first seven-on-seven and 11-on-11 drills. He hit receiver Jerry Jeudy on an out route, connected twice with rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr., showed his movement skills by scrambling and stepping up in the pocket and ended practice with perhaps his best play of camp — a touchdown to tight end Blake Whiteheart after moving right.Kenny Pickett, Joe Flacco talk drive to win starting job, handling the uncertainty, how they spent their summer breaksJoe Flacco got limited reps but found Fannin on an out, Jeudy on an out and receiver Jamari Thrash on an in. Flacco's best throw might have been a back-shoulder down the sideline that receiver Winston Wright dropped.Rookie Dillon Gabriel, who again took a few snaps with the starters, stepped up in the pocket and hit receiver Gage Larvadain on a cross and threw a touchdown to receiver DeAndre Carter on an out.TAKING CARE OF THE VETS: Right tackle Jack Conklin and safety Grant Delpit went through the individual drills but rested during the team portions. More of the veterans are sure to get the same treatment in the coming days.CAMPER OF THE DAY: We didn't forget Shedeur Sanders in the quarterback discussion. His best stretch came in a modified seven-on-seven in the red zone, throwing back-to-back touchdowns to receivers Diontae Johnson and Cade McDonald.
