Ronald A. Felty

Ronald A. Felty, 70, of Chatham, Ohio passed away peacefully the evening of Tuesday, July 15, 2025 after a short battle with cancer. Ron was a special soul that cared for many and would help anyone in need. Whether it be with a hot meal, a place to lay their head, or a willing ear to listen. Also, a man who raised his daughter, Candace with the knowledge that it does not take blood to make you family! He is survived by his wife, Loretta 'Lory' (Gifford) Felty; daughters, Candace Felty and Christina 'Tee-Nee' (Felty) Blake; sister, Theresa (Felty) Harper; brother-in-law, John Harper; niece, Carrie; nephew, Blake; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, foster children, and adopted family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Felty (Jacob); and father, Paul Felty. Ron's wishes were to have his body donated to science in the hopes that what scientists find will be able to save another life one day. His ashes will be returned upon the completion of those studies, at which time a celebration of life will be held. No formal services are scheduled at this time. Donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Association. That was his charity of choice.
