Brunswick police Wednesday, July 2 9:38 p.m. — Laurel Road; a woman reported she was physically assaulted by an unknown man. Thursday, July 3 3:03 p.m. — 3800 block of Center Road; a woman was found to have shoplifted at Meijer with approximately $210 worth of merchandise. She also had three active warrants for her arrest. The woman was aided by a man who assisted in concealing merchandise. The man was also observed concealing approximately $730 worth of merchandise. He left the items after the woman was apprehended at the door. Both were arrested and taken to the Medina County Jail. 11:06 p.m. — Town Center Boulevard; contact was made with a man who was operating a vehicle. He failed to comply with officers' orders and drove off. A warrant for obstructing official business was entered. Friday, July 4 4:55 p.m. — 3800 block of Center Road; a man admitted to stealing about $350 worth of merchandise from Meijer. He was cited into Brunswick Mayor's Court and released. Saturday, July 5 7:46 p.m. — Laurel Road; a woman reported her caregiver had struck her arm with a dinner tray. She sustained no visible injuries but complained of pain in her arm. Monday, July 7 4:15 a.m. — 3800 block of Center Road; officers responded to the report of a shoplifter at Meijer. A man was observed stealing more than $2,000 worth of merchandise over the course of several shifts while working as an overnight janitor. He was arrested and taken to the Medina County Jail. Brunswick Hills police Sunday, June 1 8:13 a.m. — Interstate 71; a disabled vehicle was on the highway, and the driver gave false information. The driver had multiple active warrants and driver's license suspensions. Tuesday, June 3 2:09 p.m. — Creekside Boulevard; police were dispatched in response to a civil complaint. 11:19 p.m. — Sleepy Hollow Road; a man reported a dog bite. Hinckley police Friday, May 16 2:55 p.m. — State Road; an individual made a fraud report. Wednesday, May 28 5:34 p.m. — Bellus Road; a man reported his neighbor's dog was on his property. Saturday, May 31 5:16 a.m. — West 130th Street; two semi-trucks crashed into one another on private property. Saturday, June 5 5:55 p.m. — Center Road/State Road; a vehicle struck a ditch. Wednesday, June 11 12:17 a.m. — 1100 block of Ridge Road; a driver was placed under arrest for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
