Mary Elizabeth Reed

Mary Elizabeth Reed, 93, died while in hospice care Thursday, June 12, 2025, of natural causes. She was born January 30, 1932, in Medina, Ohio, and graduated from Medina High School. Mary lived in Medina for most of her life where she was a long-time employee of Medina City Schools. Throughout her life, Mary enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and watching sports, especially the Buckeyes. By and far, she most enjoyed spending time with her family. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Ann Schindelholz. She is survived by her sister, Lori Easton of Medina; her children, James Davis (Carolyn) of Wellington, Joann Bougher (Edward) of Medina, Julie Bowers of Medina, and John Reed (Lindsey) of Thornville. Mary will also be remembered fondly by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday, June 27, 2025 with a viewing for family and friends at 1:30 p.m. in Carlson Funeral Home in Medina, and graveside ceremony immediately following.
