Steven Boyd Walden

Steven Boyd Walden, 67, of Marshallville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025. He was born July 1, 1957, in Medina, Ohio, to parents, Lewis Hayne and Myrtle Raye (Clifford) Walden. Steve graduated from Highland High School, Class of 1976. He worked for ODOT for many years doing Highway Maintenance. He enjoyed working in his yard and traveling on trips to many different places. He also worked on farms, caring for the animals and milking cows. He was a kind, friendly man who enjoyed the company of family and friends. He is survived by his siblings, Sarah P. Collier, Edward (Betty) Walden, and Cindy Mae Weyrick; his niece, Christine Collier; nephews, Mark and Matthew Collier, and Christopher and Jeffrey Weyrick; his great-nieces, Haile, Olivia, Alaina, and Emily Collier; along with many cousins and dear friends. Steven will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Family will receive friends Monday, June 23, 2025 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Waite Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina, with the funeral service immediately following at 7 p.m. Burial will be Tuesday, June 24, 2025 in Eastlawn Memory Gardens.
