Mark Allen Mullen

Mark Allen Mullen, 67, of Medina, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 31st, 2025. Although his death was unexpected, he fought as a warrior, battling against cancer for the past five years. Born March 9, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mark was the son of the late William and Donna (Herrmann) Mullen. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Patrice (Mullen) Ellis. Mark married Beth Ann Mewhorter, his soulmate, on December 31, 2006. She survives in Medina. He was previously married to Debbie Morin (1980-1992). He is also survived by his three loving daughters, Amanda (Mullen) Kieffer and husband, Adam Kieffer of San Antonio, Texas; Alyssa Mullen of Detroit, Michigan; and Taylor (Case) Dearborn and husband, Austin Dearborn of Medina, Ohio. Mark's pride and joy were his seven grandchildren, William, Henry, Alaira, and Athena Kieffer; Lucy Joalland: and Lennox and Ivy Dearborn. He is also survived by siblings, Bill (April) Mullen of Upper Sandusky, Ohio; Dave (Phoenix) Mullen of Columbus, Ohio; Paul (Nenita) Mullen of Oxford, Ohio; and Linda (Tim) Esterline of Sycamore, Ohio. A graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Mark built a distinguished career in engineering, sales and management, leading energy projects around the world. He lived in New York and North Carolina before settling in Ohio. Mark will be remembered for his wisdom, his wit, his unwavering compassion for others, and deep love for his family. He was a source of strength, comfort, and laughter to all who knew him. And to his wife and daughters - always the 'Protector of Our Hearts.' Per his wishes, no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made toward a Memorial Fund in Mark's name for his grandchildren.
