Trolley historian to discuss Olmsted Township's former Trolleyville, USA The Northern Ohio Railway Museum will have a presentation on the former Trolleyville, USA site at 10 a.m. Saturday. Noted trolley historian Blaine Hays will speak about Trolleyville, USA in Olmsted Township and its operation of more than 20 vehicles. Tickets are $50 per person and will feature a guest speaker, lunch, desserts, games, prizes and a free pass to the McDowell-Phillips House Museum to view the upcoming wedding dress collection display. The display is an exhibit of wedding gowns, related apparel and traditions ranging from the 1820s to the 1970s. The collection will consist of more than 25 wedding gowns and apparel, some never displayed before and some that may never be seen again. There is limited seating for the fundraiser. Miller announces winner of 2025 congressional art competition Rep. Max Miller, R-Rocky River, announced the winner of the 2025 congressional art competition for Ohio's 7th District. Natasha Rehlender, a junior at Padua Franciscan High School, won with her acrylic painting titled "In the Kitchen." Miller announced her achievement at a reception in Medina, which was attended by other finalists and their families. Her artwork will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol's Cannon Tunnel in Washington, D.C., alongside winning pieces from other congressional districts across the country. Charlie Reynolds, a sophomore at Westlake High School, won the people's choice award with his piece "Adam and Aurora."
