Thomas B. 'Tom' Anton

Thomas B. 'Tom' Anton, 78, of Medina passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Medina Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born October 13, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Bernard W. 'Ben' and Rita M. (Beck) Anton. Tom was a proud Air Force veteran during the Vietnam Conflict and stationed in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam as an airplane mechanic. Tom was a faithful parish member of Holy Martyr Catholic Church. An equestrian, Tom loved spending time with his beloved horse Anna and enjoyed showing her off at different local horse shows. Tom had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with his family. Beside his parents; he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and George Anton. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Jackie Anton of the home; two daughters, Kellie Anton of Medina and Patty Anton of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Connor Anton of New York City, New York, and Erica Anton of Boston, Massachusetts; a sister, Mary Lou (Ray) Lazor of Middleburg Heights, Ohio; a brother, Mike (Teresa Wyse) Anton of Olmsted Falls, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 28, 2025 at 4 p.m. in Carlson Funeral Home Medina Chapel, 3477 Medina Rd., Medina, Ohio 44256, with Fr. Steve Dohner as celebrant. Calling hours will be two hours prior to the service Friday, February 28, 2025 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio, with full military honors.
