Alice Ann Schroeder

Alice Ann Schroeder, 87, of Chatham Township, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 8, 2025. She was born September 19, 1937 in Lodi, Ohio to Ralph and Agnes (nee Holmes) Parker. She lived in Medina County most of her life, traveling to Germany with her infant daughter to be with her husband, Larry, where he was stationed during his time in the service. She was married to Lawrence Allen Schroeder for 68 years. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Larry; their children, LuAnn (Jim) Bloss, Diane (Bryan) Leu, and Wesley (Debi Hrutkai) Schroeder; grandchildren, Ben Bloss, Laura Bloss, Karen (Paul Rini) Leu, AmyLeu, Alina Schroeder, Michaela Schroeder, Weston Schroeder, and Josh Schroeder; and great-grandchildren, Chandler and Kai. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda. Alice enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, sewing, traveling, golfing, line dancing, flying (she and Larry both have had pilots' licenses), and being with family. Calling hours will be Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 12 Noon until 1 p.m. at Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi. Her funeral service will immediately follow visitation Wednesday, February 12, 2025 starting at 1 p.m. Rev. John Lawrence will officiate. Burial will follow at Chatham Cemetery.
