Ruby I. Smith

Ruby I. Smith, 90, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025. She was born April 9, 1934, to the late Doss and Laura Wills. Ruby is survived by her beloved children, Becky (Bob, deceased) Callahan, Louis Allen (Tonya), and Blanche (Dale, deceased) Buckles; dear grandchildren, Jan (Tamara), Angie, and Tyler (Danielle); great-grandchildren, Jamie, Harper, Winnie, and Otto; bonus step grandma; treasured sister, Lois; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, William; son, William Marshall; and 11 siblings. Ruby was an amazing cook. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Cavs and Guardians in her free time. Ruby deeply loved her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Family will receive friends Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home in Medina. A funeral service will be held Monday, January 13, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
