Mark 'Markus' Daniel Fike, Jr.

Mark 'Markus' Daniel Fike, Jr., 78, of Seville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Medina General Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late Mark and Emma (Farkas) Fike. After graduating from South High School, Mark proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed by LTV Steel, retiring after 36 years of service. Mark was a member of the American Legion Post #0523 and VFW Post #5137. He was an outdoorsman and loved his motorcycle, especially riding with his beloved wife, Carol. Any outdoor activity was his passion. His family is left with many fond memories of their outdoor adventures. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Carol Fike; children, Justin (Jennifer) Fike, Candace (Justin) Steinbrenner, Barrett (Rasnva) Fike, and Ronald Shelko; grandchildren, Lydia, Dalton, Lukas, Taylor, Gabriel, Leena, and Sonya; and canine companion, Barkley. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m. in Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina Street, Lodi, Ohio. A funeral service for Mark will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 6 p.m. Mark will be laid to rest with Military Honors on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 9:45 a.m. in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
