Medina United Church of Christ, Congregational's candlelight walk bake sale Medina United Church of Christ, Congregational's youth group will put on a bake sale during candlelight walk from 4:30- 7 p.m. today. Homemade treats and hot cocoa will be available by donation to support Christian education programming at the church. Allergy-friendly items will also be available. The bake sale tent, on the corner of North Broadway Street and East Liberty Street by the Medina Square, is on the candlelight walk parade route. The parade kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with fireworks to follow. Avon Lake Presbyterian Church offers "Tweens and Teens Music Monday" Avon Lake Presbyterian Church is beginning a new program called "Tweens and Teens Music Monday." It will take place from 4:30-5:30 p.m. on Mondays starting this Monday and continuing through the month of December. The group will consist of fifth through eighth grade students. Emphasis will be on learning the fundamentals of reading printed music, singing and praising God through song. Students will have opportunities to sing in worship at Avon Lake Presbyterian Church and participate in community outreach activities throughout the holiday season. The event is open to all, not just teenagers who attend the church. The church is at 32340 Electric Blvd. Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church craft and bake sale Mouth Pleasant United Methodist Church will have a craft and bake sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. The church is at 2768 Laurel Road in Brunswick. Food distribution at Liverpool Township church St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church at 1824 Station Road in Liverpool Township will have a drive-thru food distribution behind the white house from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday. The food distribution is held on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month.
