Two dead in I-71 crash; vehicle sought

Police are looking for a vehicle involved in a crash on Interstate 71 on Thursday night that left two people dead. According to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Daved N. Brown, 68, of Cincinnati, was driving a Volvo commercial vehicle on Interstate 71 south. Around 10:12 p.m., the Volvo became disabled in the right lane near mile post 206 in Westfield Township. It was struck by a 2018 Chevrolet Trax driven by Mark D. McGraw, 73, of West Salem. A third vehicle struck the Volvo and fled the scene. Brown and McGraw were both pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation, and troopers are looking for a maroon or red commercial vehicle with heavy driver and passenger side damage.
