Brunswick police Wednesday, June 19 9 a.m. — 3800 block of Center Road; one vehicle struck another while entering a private parking lot. The vehicle operator did not have a valid license. 9:43 a.m. — Interstate 71; a vehicle was stopped for speed. Upon investigation, it was determined the driver, Brandon Goins, 41, of Columbus, was driving under suspension and had several warrants for his arrest. He was arrested on the outstanding warrant for fraud from Berea police. He was also cited for speed, driving under suspension and no operator's license into Brunswick Mayor's Court. Thursday, June 20 11:17 a.m. — Hadcock Road; one vehicle struck another while backing out of a driveway. 2:04 p.m. — Paul Drive/Raymond Drive; contact was made with solicitors Demetris Dionisopoulos, 20, of Parma, and Frederick Smith II, 26, of Akron. They were soliciting for Eric Homes without a permit and were cited into Brunswick Mayor's Court. Friday, June 21 12:44 a.m. — 200 block of Pearl Road; a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for marked lanes violation. The operator David Reiter Jr., 30, of Brunswick, was alleged to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested. He refused to provide a breath sample, was issued citations to Medina Municipal Court and transported to his residence. Saturday, June 22 5:06 p.m. — Town Center Boulevard; police were dispatched to GameStop for an irate customer. Douglas Brahler, 41, of Hinckley, allegedly used abusive language toward staff before pushing a customer as he left. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation into Brunswick Mayor's Court for disorderly conduct and released. 6:09 p.m. — Joseph Parkway; a homeowner reported a bike was left in their front yard. 7:05 p.m. — Laurel Road; one vehicle sideswiped another and did not stop. The driver was later located and cited. Sunday, June 23 4:44 a.m. — 1500 block of Pearl Road; officers conducted a welfare check on a man lying on the grass and not moving. Matthew Varga, 40, of Brunswick, admitted to consuming alcohol and walking to the area after he was denied service at Taco Bell. He was issued a citation for disorderly conduct public intoxication into Brunswick Mayor's Court and transported to his residence. Monday, June 24 2:44 p.m. — West Third Street, Cleveland; police responded to the Cuyahoga County Jail and arrested Arron Peterson-Foster, 28, of Cleveland, on a warrant from Brunswick for failure to appear on traffic offenses. He also had several other warrants from other municipalities. He was transported to the Medina County Jail. Brunswick Hills police Saturday, June 22 3:08 a.m. — Substation Road; a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for a speeding violation. The operator of the vehicle was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Sunday, June 23 5:33 a.m. — Laurel Road/Berkshire Drive; a vehicle struck a mailbox.
