Notes: Rodney McLeod Jr. says this will be his final season

Rodney McLeod Jr. didn't want his career to end like that — on the sideline with a torn biceps.The safety re-signed with the Browns in March on a one-year contract and announced on NFL Network this will be his final year."This is the last lap for me," he said Friday. "It's been a long career, a prosperous one, one many didn't anticipate when I started out, being undrafted. He began his career with the St. Louis Rams in 2012, spent the bulk of it with the Eagles and joined the Browns last season.He's a team leader and immediately became a strong presence inside the locker room and meeting rooms. He started five of 10 games, making 29 tackles, two for loss, and breaking up a pass. He finished the season on injured reserve after sustaining the torn biceps Nov. 19 against the Steelers.Analysis: Five questions waiting to be answered by complete schedule release Wednesday"Just felt last year was left incomplete," he said. "I wanted a complete year. I pride myself on availability and being durable. So for me this year is finishing unfinished business. He has three touchdowns on returns.He won a Super Bowl with the Eagles and wants to go out with another championship."Hopefully … that's part of the last dance," he said.ROSTER MOVESThe Browns claimed tackle Kellen Diesch via waivers from Pittsburgh on Tuesday and signed receiver Jalen Camp. To make room on the roster, kicker Lucas Havrisik was waived.Diesch (6-foot-7, 300 pounds) was undrafted out of Arizona State in 2022 and spent his rookie season on the Bears' practice squad and last season on the Steelers' practice squad.Camp (6-2, 220) was a sixth-round pick of the Jaguars in 2021 out of Georgia Tech. He has appeared in five games with one start, all with the Texans.
