Robert Smead

Robert Smead, 58, of Medina, passed away after a long illness on Sunday, March 10, 2024. He was born April 5, 1965, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Harry and Nora (nee Howaniak) Smead. He was a 1983 graduate of Medina Highland High School. Robert served in the United States Army from 1985-1991, and for 12 years in the Ohio Army National Guard. In his spare time, Robert enjoyed hiking and fishing, strategy games and building model kits. Robert is survived by his brother, Michael (Karen) Smead and his loving nieces, Jennifer and Heather Smead. Robert has donated his remains to Cleveland Clinic for medical research. The family will be holding a private ceremony in his remembrance, and ask that friends observe a moment of silence in his memory.
