Katherine E. 'Betsy' Damon

Katherine E. 'Betsy' Damon, 64 of Chatham, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the Cleveland Clinic, following a lengthy illness. She was born December 24, 1959 in Elyria, Ohio, to the late James and Kathleen (Sattler) Priddy. During her youth, her family resided in Spencer, and she would later graduate from Berea High School in 1977. She married Larry Damon shortly after graduating on June 18, 1977. They moved to Chatham in 1991. Betsy was a homemaker and a member of the Medina County Women's Bible Study. In addition to her husband, Larry, she is survived by four sons, Brandon (Lauren) Damon of Westerville, Patrick (Carrie) Damon of West Salem, Joshua (Angela) Damon of Columbus, and Timothy Damon of Chatham; eight grandchildren; sisters, Micky (Troy) Brandt of Berea, Amy and Amanda Sattler of Strongsville, and Angela Stroup of Eastlake; brothers, James Priddy of Sheffield Lake, Chris Priddy of Cleveland, Brian Priddy of Strausburg, Colorado, Aaron Priddy of Swansea, Missouri, and Adam Sattler of Broadview Hts. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Shannon; and sister, Rose. Visitation will be Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, Ohio, where her funeral service will be Monday, January 29, 2024 at 11 a.m. Pastor Dave Purdy will officiate.
