William 'Bill' McBride

William 'Bill' McBride, 72, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024. Bill was born July 8, 1951, to the late Harold and Dorothy (nee Benson) McBride. He is survived by his beloved wife, Michele (nee Rigard); treasured children, Amanda (Ben) Swanson, Ashlee (Derek) Miller, Chantae (Ben) Metzloff; cherished grandchildren, Charlie and Adalee Hollan, Evalyn, Blake, and Madelyn Swanson, Keegan and McKinlee Miller; dear siblings, Jim (Linda) McBride, Ron (Sharon) McBride, JoAnn (Steve) Dakos; and dear mother-in-law, Virginia Rigard. William worked at Verizon in Medina as a telephone technician. He was a proud volunteer Fire Fighter and EMT for the Lafeyette Fire Department. William also belonged to The Moose for many years. William knew how to fill a room and was the life of the party. He always had something funny to say and had a memorable laugh. He had the biggest heart and his grandkids were his life. He also greatly enjoyed cooking in his free time. William will be dearly missed by all. Family will receive friends Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 3 to 7 p.m. in Waite and Son Funeral Home, Medina.
