Nancy L. Gross

Nancy L. Gross, 80, of Creston, passed away Thursday evening, December 28, 2023 at The Avenue at Wooster. Nancy was born August 25, 1943 in Elyria, to the late J. Carl and Bernice (Faunce) Householder. She graduated from Elyria High School and had worked at Buehlers in Medina in the Seafood Department. She was a member of the Creston-Canaan United Methodist Church and had enjoyed playing cards, bowling and working puzzles over the years. Nancy always loved her dogs and family gatherings. Nancy is survived by children, Leon (Joyce) Hosey of Sissonville, West Virginia, Darrel Gross of Brunswick, and Lisa (Rick) Whitley of Creston; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sally (Carvil) Cool of Seville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel on August 23, 2023; her parents; a brother, Thomas Householder; and a grandson, Brandon. Friends may call Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. in Murray Funeral Home in Creston. Burial will be at a later date in Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina.
