Kenneth J. Isenberg

Kenneth J. Isenberg, 84, of Wadsworth, Ohio, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023. He was born June 15, 1939, in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, a son of Isaiah John and Lenora Yvonne Nicholson Isenberg and had been a resident of Ohio, graduating from North Ridgeville High School in 1957. Ken served in the U.S. Army and was called to active duty during the Berlin Crisis. He worked for Donley's Construction in Cleveland for 45 years from where he retired. Ken loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing, and enjoyed doing various projects in woodworking. He was into flying and on his 16th birthday took his solo flight and soon after he obtained his pilot's license. He continued to enjoy flying for many years. Survivors, in addition to his wife, Shirley Waid Isenberg, include children, Bruce of Florida and Alice of West Virginia; grandchildren, Sandy, Tyler, and Ashlyn of West Virginia; sister, Patty Gromley of Pennsylvania; and brother, David of Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sandy; and brother, William. Services and interment will be private for family and close friends at a later date in Townley Cemetery, Richmond Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania. Memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels or the Humane Society. The arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville, Pennsylvania.
