Lloyd J. Barr

Lloyd J. Barr, 78, formerly of Medina, went home to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. He was born in Lodi on April 8, 1945, to Lloyd E. Barr and Margaret J. Simon Barr. Mr. Barr quit working October 1, 2022 from Medina Recycling. He is survived by Lucy D. Cordell, who he married in 2014; daughter, Shelley Barr of Lodi; son, Tyler Cordell of Dublin, Ohio; granddaughter, Devon Barr of Lodi; BJ Carson of Seville, whom he loved like a daughter; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd e. Barr and Margaret J. Barr.; and sister, Jean Ann Carver. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, being tormented by his granddaughter, spending time with Casper and Lucky, his four legged companions, and sitting with friends and family. There will be a Celebration of Life in Krabill Lodge, 7597 Ballash Rd., Medina on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 4 to 8 p.m. Please bring a covered dish, meat will be supplied.
