Michael James Longo

Michael James Longo, DC, 62, of Seville, passed away unexpectedly at home Saturday, July 22, 2023. Michael was born in Chicago, Illinois, May 3, 1961 to Robert James and Grace (Carone) Longo. Michael graduated from the National Chiropractic College in 1986. He had owned and operated Lodi Family Chiropractic for the past 20 years. In addition to being a chiropractor, he also taught at Stark State for several years. Dr. Longo was the Team Doctor for Black River High School Football and had formerly been the team doctor at Cloverleaf High School. Combined, he was the team doctor for 199 games. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police in Medina. A few of his other passions were spending time with his daughter, home improvement projects, and helping the youth of his community. He will be greatly missed and dearly remembered by his family, countless friends, and community members. Surviving are his daughter, Emily Grace Longo of North Canton; son, Joseph William Longo of Dallas, Texas; his step-mother, Beverly Longo of Blytheville, Arkansas; and a sister, Dyan Glover of Tennessee; as well as his nieces, nephew, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with a visitation for family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and the service to follow at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Black River Fullbackers, PO Box 202, Spencer, Ohio 44725.
