Brunswick police Wednesday, May 31 1:25 a.m. — Independence Drive; the Medina County Sheriff's Office had Keith Rasey, 70, in its custody. He had a Brunswick Mayor's Court failure to appear warrant on an original charge of disorderly conduct. A copy of the warrant was signed and faxed to the sheriff's office, where Rasey remained in custody. 7:55 a.m. — Center Road/I-71; one vehicle struck another while changing lanes. 4:05 p.m. — Uxbridge Drive/Southbridge Boulevard; one vehicle struck another while turning. 6:45 p.m. — South Avon-Beldon Road; the Lorain County Sheriff's Office sent a hit confirmation to Brunswick police regarding Teon Prayear, 31, of Lorain, who had a failure to appear warrant. He was arrested and transported to the Medina County Sheriff's Office after he was unable to post bond. Thursday, June 1 10:39 p.m. — 3200 block of Center Road; a traffic stop was initiated, and police detected the odor of marijuana inside the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed a bag of loose marijuana and a rolled marijuana cigarette. Annette Gonzalez, 32, of Cleveland, was issued citations on expired registration and marijuana drug abuse into Brunswick Mayor's Court and was released on scene. Friday, June 2 12:48 a.m. — 1700 block of Pearl Road; a man was stumbling around Taco Bell. Contact was made with Kalif Johnson, 47, of Canton, who was found to be intoxicated. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation for disorderly conduct into Brunswick Mayor's Court. 4:05 p.m. — Nationwide Parkway/West 130 Street; one vehicle rear-ended another. Saturday, June 3 10:06 p.m. — South Carpenter Road/Laurel Road; contact was made with the driver, Kody Mann, 25, of Brunswick. He admitted to drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. Police said Mann refused to cooperate with the OVI investigation and was arrested for OVI. He was issued citations into Medina Municipal Court and was later turned over to the Medina County Sheriff's Office on an active telecommunications harassment warrant. Sunday, June 4 12:30 p.m. — Laurel Road; a man reported fraud. 3:32 p.m. — Pearl Road/Center Road; one vehicle rear-ended another. Monday, June 5 4:32 p.m. — one vehicle struck another after failing to maintain an assured distance ahead. Tuesday, June 6 6:44 p.m. — 3800 block of Center Road; Bernadette Earhart, 54, of Brunswick, was lying in the parking lot of a closed business. Next to her was a container of Honey Brown beer. Police said she was cited into Brunswick Mayor's Court for disorderly conduct and open container in a public space. Earhart was offered medical assistance and mental health assistance, and police offered to transport her to a shelter. She declined assistance. 7:18 p.m. — 4600 block of Center Road; a person turned in a watch that was found in Neura Park. It was placed into evidence for safekeeping. 7:40 p.m. — Rocklyn Drive; a man reported that sometime overnight, an unknown suspect damaged the hood of his vehicle while it was parked in the driveway. Brunswick Hills police Tuesday, May 30 4:00 p.m. — Marks Road/Lake Forest Reserve Lane; one vehicle struck another while passing a stopped vehicle. Wednesday, May 31 9:56 p.m. — Pearl Road/Laurel Road; one vehicle struck another after failing to yield. Thursday, June 1 10:11 p.m. — Sleepy Hollow Road; officers were dispatched for an active physical domestic altercation. 11:11 p.m. — 3900 block of Center Road; officers conducted a traffic stop for marked lanes and light required at night violations. Sunday, June 4 8:00 p.m. — I-71/Grafton Road; a vehicle struck a deer. Monday, June 5 6:34 p.m. — Lake Forest Reserve Lane; police responded to a report of the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Hinckley police Thursday, March 23 4:47 p.m. — State Road; a woman reported that her ex-boyfriend violated a temporary protection order. Tuesday, April 4 4:33 p.m. — West 130 Street/Grafton Road; one vehicle rear-ended another. Wednesday, April 5 2:02 p.m. — 2600 block of Center Road; a business owner reported that an employee stole checks and property. Saturday, April 8 1:23 p.m. — Cana Circle; complainants reported that they were scammed out of $4,100 by an unknown person online. Monday, April 10 3:53 p.m. — Stony Hill Road; there was an unwanted guest with a warrant at a residence. Officers located her, confirmed her identity and transported her to the Medina County Jail. Tuesday, April 11 11:00 a.m. — Stony Hill Road; a dog bit a postal worker. 7:16 p.m. — 2700 block of Center Road; a driver did not have a valid operator's license. The driver was issued a citation and given a court date at Medina Municipal Court. Friday, April 14 1:18 p.m. — Boston Road; a box truck hit wires. Wednesday, April 19 12:45 p.m. — Ridgemont Trail; a man reported that someone opened a loan in his name, and the repayments were past due $1,462. Thursday, April 27 12:22 p.m. — Stony Hill Road/Canterbury Farm Drive; a vehicle ran off the road, struck a culvert, crossed over a driveway apron and rolled over.
