All occupants safe after Liverpool Township home catches fire

LIVERPOOL TWP. — Everyone inside a residence made it safely out of the home when a structure fire occurred on West Law Road in Liverpool Township shortly after midnight Tuesday, according to the Valley City Fire Department. Valley City fire was dispatched at 12:23 a.m., and three firefighters responded from the station. Upon arrival, there was heavy fire inside the home and through the roof of the garage. Water was put on the fire from the exterior of the home, and the fire was contained to the eastern part of the house and the garage. The fire's cause is under investigation.
