Juanita M. Baker

Juanita M. 'Nita' Baker, 75, of Surprise, Arizona and formerly of Lodi, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 16, 2023 at her home. She was born June 1, 1947 in Cleveland, to the late Charles and Mary (Bejan) Paveloi. Nita grew up in Cleveland where she graduated from West High School in 1965. She married Delano Clifford Baker on July 7, 1979. Nita had resided in Lodi and later in Delaware, Ohio. She moved to Arizona in 2021. She was a former employee of Westfield Insurance Company, and had been an Avon Representative for many years. Nita enjoyed watching Hallmark Christmas movies year-round, Jeopardy, and old sitcoms on classic TV. She had also been a member of the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her children, Micki (Joe) Harbour of Virginia, Ron (Yvonne) Baker of Lakewood, Todd (Patty) Arndt of Surprise, Arizona and Tina (Tom) Lakotish of Parma; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff in 2009. Visitation will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi. Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi. Chaplain Don Bolich will officiate. Online condolences may be shared at www.parkerfuneralhomes.com
