Medina County Historical Society open house The Medina County Historical Society's last open house of 2022 will be 1-4 p.m. today at the McDowell-Phillips House Museum at 205 S. Prospect St. The museum is decorated for the holidays. It is a guided tour of the museum. Admission donations are $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and MCHS members and $7 for youths ages 7-18. Children younger than 7 are free with a hand-holding adult. There is limited parking behind the museum. Parking is available on West Washington Street and at South Prospect and West Liberty streets. The planning process is based on the values and aspirations of the community. The city is asking for community members' perspectives on the future of parks in the city. Local students named to Muskingum University's dean's list Muskingum University released its dean's list for fall 2022, and three local students were on the list. To be named to the dean's list, students must earn a term GPA of 3.60 or above on a minimum course load of 12 completed semester hours of A-F graded coursework. She presented insights on the global and regional economies. She provided an overview of the Foreign Direct Investment in Medina County. FDI is defined as 51 percent or more foreign ownership of a company with a U.S. presence. She shared that: There are 45 foreign-owned companies in Medina County. Companies from 43 different countries have investments and locations in Northeast Ohio.
